Terms and Conditions for 3D Printing Design Competition
Eligibility:

The competition is open to students and architectural design firms worldwide.

Participants can enter as individuals or teams. For teams, a team leader must be designated as the main contact.

Each participant or team may submit only one design.
Entry Requirements:

Participants must submit their 3D printing design through the designated competition website or via email.

The design must be an original work created by the participant or team.

All entries must be submitted in STL format and accompanied by a brief description of the design, including the concept and intended use.
Submission Period:

The submission period starts at 9:00 AM on August 1, 2024, and ends at 5:00 PM on February 25th, 2025.

Late submissions will not be accepted.
Design Criteria:

The design must be suitable for 3D printing as per the guidelines.

The design should be innovative, functional and demonstrate a clear purpose or utility.

Designs will be judged based on creativity, feasibility and potential impact.
Prizes:

The winning design will be printed and showcased as a world-leading example of 3D printing capabilities.
Winner Selection:

The winners will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of industry experts, architects, academia and 3D printing specialists.

Judging will take place between October 1, 2024, and February 26th, 2025.

Winners will be announced on February, 28th 2025, via the competition website and notified through email.
Notification:

Winners will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of submission.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, the organisers reserve the right to utilise their design or withdraw their design and select an alternative winner.
Publicity:

By entering the competition, participants agree to have their names and designs used in promotional materials, including websites, social media and print publications.
Intellectual Property:

Participants retain the intellectual property rights to their designs.

By submitting a design, participants grant the organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display the design for promotional purposes forever.
Data Protection:

Personal data provided during the submission process will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and in accordance with the organizers' privacy policy.
General:

The organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

In the event of any dispute regarding the competition or the terms and conditions, the decision of the organisers shall be final.
Legal Compliance:

This competition is conducted in accordance with the laws of the country where the organisers are based, and participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in that country.
