LUYTEN successfully 3D Printed the first indigenous housing project in the world, August 2022. Built in collaboration with the Ilpye Ilpye Aboriginal Corporation in Melbourne, Australia. This home was named ‘Warle Akweke’, meaning; "Tiny house in Arrernte language" by Directors of IIAC and the traditional owners of Alice Springs.
The 'Warle Akweke' is also the first ever 3D Printed House in-situ using a large scale 3D Concrete Printer in an uncontrolled environment in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere.
